Dancers should quietly wait for their classes to begin in the hallway. They may not enter the sanctuary, Studio D, the UMC office or the kitchen. Snacks are allowed in the hallway but only water may be taken into the studios.
Regular attendance in classes is important. Dancers arriving more than 15 minutes late to class will be allowed to join class at the discretion of the teacher. If a student will be missing class, they (or their parent/guardian) must notify the Directors or Operations Manager. Dancers are encouraged to make-up missed classes.
In the case of cancelled classes, dancers will be notified via email. If a class will be cancelled within two hours of the start time, dancers will be notified by phone call and email. Additionally, weather related cancellations will be posted on our website and social media.
General requirements for all classes are as follows:
Hair off the neck and face, and cleanly secured.
Leotard or form fitting tank top / t-shirt.
Form fitting dance shorts / leggings.
Additional dress code information may be provided by teaching faculty.
LOST & FOUND
Dancers are responsible for their personal belongings and RDA is not responsible for anything left behind. There will be a Lost & Found bin located in the hallway. Items not claimed after 2 weeks are subject to being donated and/or discarded.
Classes cancelled by RDA are subject to a tuition credit or refund. No tuition refunds will be processed due to an inclement weather closing.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
Credit card payments are accepted in order to make RDA more convenient for you. Each credit card payment will be charged a 2% transaction fee.
All credit card payments are processed by PCI compliance company, Braintree. RDA does not store any credit card information in our database.
